Boxwood hedge rental cost
Boxwood hedge rental cost depends on wall length, panel height, topiary or planter accents, delivery distance, venue access, wind exposure, and strike timing.
Hedge wall rental for events
Event hedge walls work best when the backdrop is planned around camera angles, guest flow, sponsor or logo placement, load-in rules, and strike deadlines.
Boxwood privacy wall rental
Boxwood privacy walls are useful for terraces, retail entries, VIP areas, construction screening, and event zones where the screen has to look intentional.
Boxwood wall rental vs living wall
Boxwood wall rental is best for temporary privacy, backdrops, and fast installs; living walls are permanent plant systems that require irrigation, light, and specialized service.
Boxwood hedge walls for New York events, lobbies and terraces
New York is home ground for The Foliage Co. We are operated by Interior Foliage Design, a family-run company based here since 1975, and hedge wall rentals here serve Class A offices, hotel lobbies, retail flagships, private residences, event venues, and fashion and media events.
Hedge walls are used for photo backdrops at launches and shows, privacy screening on terraces and rooftops, retail screening, and temporary partitions that shape a room for an evening or a season.
Working within New York buildings
Most of the planning in New York is about the building. Freight elevator rules, loading dock windows and tight lobby footprints decide panel sizes and delivery timing. Many buildings require after-hours installs, certificates of insurance before crews arrive, and coordination with union building staff.
Brand-sensitive rooms add another layer. A flagship or hotel arrival hall needs hedge walls that arrive clean, dense, straight and camera-ready, then strike without marking floors or walls.
- After-hours load-in and strike scheduled with the building
- COI paperwork arranged before install day
- Panel sizes planned for freight elevators and tight lobbies
- Wind and ballast planning for terraces and rooftops
Seasons and neighborhoods
Summer terrace planting and outdoor events, winter lobby refreshes and holiday demand keep hedge walls in use year-round. Requests come from SoHo, Flatiron, Midtown, Tribeca and Hudson Yards. Share the space, the run length and your dates, and we will review scope and timing with you.
Installation and event projects start at $10,000.
Fashion, media and launches
Fashion and media events in New York often treat greenery as part of the set rather than decoration. Hedge walls frame runways and step-and-repeat areas, divide presentation rooms and give press a clean background. These projects usually have short load-in windows and camera-facing detail that has to be right, so we plan panel layout, lighting angles and strike timing with the producer well before the event.
