Holiday decor that runs like a program, not a scramble
The Foliage Co designs, sources, installs, removes and stores commercial holiday decor for retail, hotels, offices and property managers. It is built for properties that cannot afford amateur seasonal decor: lobbies that guests photograph, storefronts that set the tone for the season, and hotel public rooms that have to look finished on the first day of the holiday calendar and every day after.
We are operated by Interior Foliage Design, a family-run company working with plants and greenery since 1975 and based in New York. Holiday work sits naturally beside our plant design, rental and installation work: the same planning, the same care for building finishes, and the same people answering the phone.
Why planning now matters
The best holiday installs are planned well before November. Design direction, procurement of trees, garland, wreaths and planters, and the install schedule all take lead time, and building calendars fill quickly once the season starts. Starting the conversation early leaves room to choose materials deliberately rather than taking whatever is left.
Timing is just as important at the end of the season. Removal windows are often tight, especially in retail and hospitality, and decor has to come down cleanly without disrupting the January reset.
- Design direction agreed before procurement begins
- Install windows scheduled around opening hours, events and building rules
- Removal planned as carefully as installation
- Storage between seasons so pieces return in good condition
What a holiday program includes
A typical program covers the full season. We agree on a design direction for each space, source the materials, install them within your building's windows, check that everything is holding up, then remove it after the holidays and store reusable pieces. For properties with several locations, one design standard keeps the look consistent from site to site.
- Design direction for each space
- Procurement of trees, garland, wreaths and planters
- Installation, removal and storage
- A consistent look across multiple locations
Built for annual programs
Most commercial holiday decor is not a one-time purchase. Because the work tends to recur every year, service quality and operational reliability matter more than the lowest bid. An annual program lets a property refresh key elements, keep a consistent look across locations, and avoid re-buying decor that could have been stored and reused.
We review location, timing and scope for every project. Installation and event projects start at $10,000, and the final price depends on the scope.
Common questions
When should we start planning commercial holiday decor?
Ideally before November. Design, procurement and scheduling all take time, and install dates fill quickly once the season begins.
Do you handle removal and storage?
Yes. Removal and storage are part of the service, so decor comes down within your building's window and can be reused in following seasons.
What kinds of properties do you work with?
Retail, hotels, offices and property managers, including holiday lobbies, retail seasonal installs and hotel decor programs.
Can holiday decor become an annual program?
Yes. Many properties prefer a recurring program with an annual refresh rather than starting from scratch each year.
What does a project cost?
Installation and event projects start at $10,000. The final price depends on scope, materials, timing and access, which we review with you first.
What do you need to quote?
Send the property, the areas to decorate, photos, your target install and removal dates, and whether you have decor to reuse. Location, timing and scope are reviewed for every project.
